MISSION STATEMENT
As an artist, teacher, and human being, I aim to give back to my students and audience members by sharing the freedom that is dance, music, and self expression. I strive to share the empowering message that dance can be for everybody and every body so long as we have the drive, passion, resilience, and courage to turn our dreams into reality. Over the past few years I have realized more and more that our mission as dancers is not only about being the most brilliant at what we do or obtaining “perfection”, but most importantly, it's about being brilliant in the way we communicate with our audiences and peers. As artists it is our job to connect and express what cannot be voiced; to heal each other through movement; to bring hope and inspiration to the next generation of creators and leaders; and to empower and encourage young boys and girls of all shades that this world is theirs and that they have the power to break barriers. It is my goal to inspire those around me and to rise by lifting others in all that I do within this art form and beyond.
